“The Safe Cave” apistogramma cave small fish cave free shipping

3” in diameter and 2.75” tall with a approx 1” opening.  Solid bottom and fully enclosed.  The safe cave is designed with a small hole so apistogramma or other small fish can safely breed inside. It’s easier for them to guard and protect a smaller opening.

I personally designed this cave with CAD software and 3d print them in house. I specifically had in mind a rough surface opening to keep snails from going inside. Everytime my apistogramma would spawn the eggs would get destroyed by snails in the ceramic caves.

This cave does not keep all snails out but it works as a great deterrent.

The textured finish makes for a very natural look. This cave sinks to the bottom of a fish tank perfectly with no weights needed.

Made with petg filament which is aquarium safe. Freshwater or saltwater. Uv resistant and water proof. Will not degrade over time like other filaments.
