About Orange Aquatics

Hey! My name is Albee and I am owner of Orange Aquatics.  I’ve always kept fish on and off from 8 years old.  Back then it was whatever I could catch in the local waterways of New York.  Blue gills, catfish, whatever jumped in the net that day. For many years it was just about fish keeping.  Until the day I seen some guppy fry swimming around my tank.  The hobby quickly shifted for me to breeding. I dove down the African cichlid world for a few years.  Malawi cichlids. Then Tanganyikan cichlids.  And then I got my first killifish. Fundulopanchax Gardneri. Day 1 I had spawning mops made and within a few days of owning this beautiful killifish I had eggs incubating.   Shortly after that I had a tank of gardneri fry growing up.  Once you go down the killifish rabbit hole you realize you need all 1270 species. 😂   Over the years I have successfully bred and raised around 2 dozen or more species of killifish. Today I am breeding many many species of killifish, some tanganyikan cichlids and dwarf cichlids.  
     As life happened aquarium fish became more than just a hobby and now I am fully focusing on building something great.    My plan is to keep expanding.  I hope to add more types of fish and more species to my breeding schedule. One day I hope to have a larger warehouse or store. And with help from my great customers with their support I am confident this will happen.
