Besides breeding, raising and shipping live fish I started designing aquarium hobby and fish keeping products and 3d printing in house. I am really putting a lot of time and effort into this and I would love to get my creations out in the world for everyone to use and enjoy. I use cad software to make each item. Every custom 3d sign will need to have its own design and stl file made. This is a time consuming task. Each item takes 1-2 hours for designing and 2-4 hours of printing.

I designed apistogramma caves with a textured finish that looks amazing. I had in mind to have a rough opening to try and deter snails from entering. It’s not perfect at keeping snails out but I think it’s doing something for sure. The inside also has these textured walls and these caves can be made in several colors.

The snail trap I designed after using a cylinder type snail trap. The hole was smaller and a super red pleco got stuck inside. I decided I can’t use this type of snail trap so I played around with designs. I came up with a larger trap. With a Larger opening. These traps work very well. I use them everyday in several of my fish tanks. Just put a small piece of vegetable inside and dump the contents after about 24 hours. It works remarkably well. My latest project is a breeding cave for synodontis lucipinnis. The cave is 4” with an open grid bottom and a removable tray underneath to catch the eggs. These breeding caves are one of a kind and unique. Nothing on the market is designed to have fish breed inside a cave and the eggs stay safe and drip into a protected tray. This is a game changer
